Safety Policy
Congress recently passed legislation entitled the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act (CPSIA) to help protect our children. As part of our standard practice of business at CHILDISH CLOTHING, we have and will continue to use lawful and safe means in manufacturing all our products. We have been diligently working with CPSC accredited facilities to ensure that goods shipped to you are compliant with these new requirements.
We are currently undergoing all necessary lab testing so that we are in compliance with the CPSIA. All of our merchandise produced for the spring 2009 season is undergoing testing by a certified laboratory approved and recommended by the CPSC. You should feel confident that CHILDISH CLOTHING is taking (and has taken for the past 6 years!) great measures to ensure that our products are not only safe for all children, but compliant with these new laws.
Childish Clothing is proud to say that we will continue to manufacture goods that are made in the USA, which allows us to more closely monitor operations, fabrics, dyes and printing. Our garments are made in wonderful factories in Los Angeles, just minutes away from our corporate offices, allowing us to be completely hands-on. |
